Reuse your candle jar

Conscious consumerism is a huge part of our business and we want to make sure that our candles produce as little waste as possible. We design our candle jars to be reused after the candle has completely burned out. You can reuse the empty jar as a planter, trinket box or as a home to your new Scent Reboost! Our lotus engraved lids can also be used as coasters.

HOW TO CONVERT YOUR SISOAN CANDLE TO A MULTIFUNCTIONAL JAR 

1. Once you have finished burning your candle, allow the wax to fully cool and solidify. 

2. Remove the remains of the wick with a spoon or small spatula. 

3. Pour hot water into the jar and allow to sit until the water is cool. The water will melt the candle wax, causing it to float to the surface of the container. 

4. Remove the water and remaining wax, you may need to use a butter knife or a spoon to get the final remains off (but please avoid getting wax in the sink drain, we don't want clogged sinks!)

 5. You will need to wipe away any excess wax on the jar with a lukewarm cloth and a small amount of soap.

6. Then it is all ready to reuse!
